April has been a month of movement, momentum, and planting seeds for what’s next and I’m excited to share a few updates with you:
🌱 I delivered two talks in April: one on "Resisting Change" (because let's be honest, change is messy and resisting it is human) and another sharing my personal career journey from Tech to Change. Leading the round table and having a space to talk honestly about the realities of navigating big shifts was powerful and it reminded me that owning your story is part of building the next chapter.
🌱 I’m also (somewhat) thrilled to announce I’ve become a Member of the Association for Coaching. For me, coaching is not just a skill, it’s a mindset and a way of life. It's about meeting people where they are and walking with them toward where they want to be. This membership feels like a deepening of that commitment.
Earlier this year, I made the decision to step away from my ICF (International Coaching Federation) membership. (And I still debating whether to renewal my ACC with them along side my Coach status with AC). While I respect the organisation, I personally didn’t find the ongoing value and support I was looking for.
I’m a coach who believes in continuous growth, and I need spaces that genuinely support that.
So, to my surprise, since joining the Association for Coaching (AC), it’s been a completely different experience. Within just a few weeks, I was accessing workshops, development sessions, and resources that have helped me not only sharpen my skills but also nourish my own journey as a coach. It’s exactly the kind of professional environment I was craving… one that grows you, not just certifies you.
With my credentials and memberships being renewed 🌱 Also, in the background, I’ve also been exploring some in-house coaching roles. I'm particularly interested in how coaching can be part of how organisations live their values, not just talk about them.
It got me thinking… In one of my first corporate jobs, there was a whole dedicated department to people alongside HR and L&D.
They were a team of trained professionals, that at the time, didn't have the labels/titles of 'Coach' or 'Therapist' but in essence that was
a) their qualifications
and b) what they did.
At 22, I knew I was drawn to that profession, but I was too inexperienced and unhealed to explore it further. I did however utilise the department and they gave me the first experience of being coached and trained in a corporate environment. I'll always remember the kindness of a lady called Roshni. Not only did she help me, but she also inspired my subconscious.
When I qualified as a Coach, that was my dream.
To be that internal, neutral, safe-space for an organisation. Not only had I experienced that intervention as a young leader but I had also seen the benefits. As a personal Coach with corporate clients, I also see the transformation on both the individual and the work they are doing.
Coaching changes people lives. Not just their careers, that's just a bonus.
So, recently, feeling ready for my next move...
I took to LinkedIn to search for associate coach roles, in-house coach opportunities and even explored the idea of becoming a Career Coach for University Students... (I think we can all say we would have benefited from coaching as a student, right?!)
Then I found a role that I immediately applied for.
Too Good To Go were advertising for a part-time internal Career Coach role.
DING-DING-DING-DING
This role is all about empowering employees at different stages of their careers.
1-2-1 coaching and group sessions ✅ yes!
Opportunity to design and deliver an inclusive coaching framework ✅ yes!
Facilitating engaging workshops ✅ yes!
Experience with international and diverse teams ✅ yes!
If anything, I was just thrilled to see that an organisation gets it. That people matter. That they see that coaching works. That sometimes we all need a different sort of professional intervention... that a course can't always offer.
(and if I get an interview, that that would be super too ❤️ ).
» I am yet to hear back from them?! But rest assured I have followed up.
🌱 Some of you might have seen that I have been more open about my own mental health. (If note, here’s the post I shared a few weeks ago) Alongside the coaching work, it sparked something new for me. Thus, I’m slowly shaping something around mental health/wellness/mindfulness support for those in leadership & tech. Yeah, we know that Tech can be an amazing industry, but it can also be relentless, isolating, and overwhelming. And when you’re a leader in that space too… jeezzz. Thus, I'm working on ideas to not only change that but to support those in quite demanding roles to feel more resilient, stronger and confident… so watch this space.🤫
✨ Oh, and, excitingly…
I'm hosting a free webinar, NEXT WEEK… designed to help you pause, reflect, and refocus. (I plan to do something like this on a monthly basis, so let me know if there is a specific topic you’d like me to cover).
During the session, we'll use the Wheel of you (life) to assess where you are, engage in guided coaching to surface insights, and complete a powerful visualisation exercise to help you move forward with clarity and intention.
When: Thursday 8th May @ 12 Noon
Where: Zoom
Sign-up here: Eventbrite
This is a space for reflection, growth, and realignment, ideal for anyone navigating change or seeking greater balance and purpose in their current season.
It’s free to attend. Just bring a notebook, a pen, and a little time for yourself.
I would love for you to join me.
Guess *what’s back*…
I'm so excited to share that 1:1 coaching is officially back!
I honestly missed it. The real conversations, the lightbulb moments, the privilege of working alongside people as they navigate change. I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love most: helping you make meaningful, aligned shifts in your life and work.
I'm also committed to deepening my practice even further this year by incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioural Techniques (CBT) into my coaching. Strengthening the mindset side of change feels like a natural evolution, and I'm excited to bring even more tools to support your journey. (More on that soon).

On the subject of coaching, here is your Coaching Exercise for May:
Let it GROW 🌱
One of the simplest but most powerful models I use with clients is the GROW Model. It’s a great self-coaching tool too! Here's the breakdown:
G is for Goal: Where are you heading?
Set a clear, meaningful target. Define success before you start moving.
What specifically do I want to achieve?
Why is this goal important to me right now?
How will I know when I've achieved it?
R is for Reality: Where are you starting from?
Get honest about where you are today … no judgement, just awareness.
What is happening right now (internally and externally)?
What progress have I already made toward this goal?
What challenges or barriers are showing up for me?
O is for (your) Options: What could you do?
Open your mind. Explore all possibilities, even the wild ones.
What are all the possible paths I could take?
Who or what could support me in reaching this goal?
If I wasn't afraid of failing, what option would I choose?
W is for Will (or Way Forward): What will you do?
Turn ideas into action. Commit to a next step, even if it’s small.
What specific action will I take first?
When will I take this action?
What might get in the way, and how will I stay on track?
➡️ Tip: You can work through these questions in a journal, a voice note, or even on a walk wherever you feel most connected to yourself. Tiny honest steps add up to big meaningful shifts.
